Sarah was a member of the “Sela” Organization. In 1944 she married David Yahin. Sarah gave a lot of assistance to the refugees who arrived to the Hungarian capital from Slovakia. After the Germans entered Hungary on 19.3.1944, she obtained authentic documents from the offices of the Population Registry in Budapest in order to deliver them, after some required changes, to those in need. Sarah worked as a clerk in the “Glass House” with Alexander Grossmann. Together with him she moved to Wekerle Sándor Street, another branch of the Swiss consulate. After the liberation Sarah made aliya with her husband and they joined Kibbutz Ein Dor. She left the kibbutz and lived in Rishon Letzion.
